Hi!

I have some old holes in certain rooms from old antenna cables that were drilled up in the past that go up to the cold attic. I also have a network cabinet in the laundry room where all the network cables go from the attic down into the ceiling. How do I best fill these holes so that I avoid getting cold air down into the holes and moist warm air up into the attic? Is it foam sealant that I should use or something else?

Best regards, Andreas

Up.

Probably not so important. Any sealant/spackle will probably work. I would take latex caulk. Foam sealant feels over the top here. Messy as hell to work with and doesn't provide a good surface for painting.
