Ha, ha now we're derailing the thread a bit which we're not really supposed to do but I already showed my significant other my handiness back in 1984, so I'm done for and it's been costly :eek:

Did you use rebar?

I'm going to do the same but in an exterior wall where the hole is clean without plaster, just the leca surface.
I read somewhere that mortar would suffice, but I'm a bit unsure.
