Hi, what is the relationship between hole vs plug vs screw when drilling into a brick wall? Should the hole have the same diameter as the plug, and should the screw be 2 mm smaller than the plug?

Look at the specs for the plug you plan to use. For a 10 mm plug, drill 10 mm and the screw is usually 5-6 mm.

Plug vs screw, about half diameter? Does that also apply for plug 8 mm – screw 4 mm there?
