Hi.
I'm not sure if I made a mistake when I started building the loft staircase.
Can I screw the tread into the "list" that's there to attach to, or is it enough with just something like PL400? There's not much to glue against. I thought about covering the screw heads later with 2-component wood filler and painting the staircase white.
The 2 steps at the bottom should have treads that can be opened like a drawer with hinges.
What do you think is best? Will the filler over the screw heads in the tread hold?
Thanks in advance.

Spontaneously, it feels like it would be enough to glue the treads with wood glue? You won't be tugging at them anyway, right?G Grymsi said:Hello.

Go with Casco Superfix if you want an even stronger glue...?

Can't you screw them from underneath? Then you'll have hidden screwing. Then you can both screw and glue! If you’re going to glue, go with wood glue; it's the strongest.
