Screw into floor with heating coils
Hello.
Hired a company.
Great credentials and the reviews were top-notch.
Today they came to set up an interior wall in a living room.
Talked about the underfloor heating, etc.
Now when he comes down, he says he drilled the studs with a 1 cm screw and that it shouldn't be a problem with the underfloor heating.
I'm now very worried that the underfloor heating has been damaged by the screws when it really should have been glued.
What do you think about this? Should I say something? Should I be worried?

Can't you use some type of thermal scanner to see where the coils are in the floor?
It's probably an expensive thing that they don't own. But I know that some municipalities have them in their energy department.
If you're nice, you might be able to borrow it from them and check yourself.

Normally, you wouldn't place a partition wall on parquet that is likely floating on the floor, as this restricts the movement of the floor. If it has to be done, it's usually fine to use double-sided tape between the floor and the frame.
