Hello, I am going to install a huntonit symfoni ceiling. Which screw is best suited for it?
Is it necessary to install battens first? I currently have an even ceiling made of tongue and groove wood.

Drywall screws work well, and if you have an electric or pneumatic staple gun, it works perfectly and faster. On an even ceiling made of tongue-and-groove wood, no furring strips are needed unless you want to do some electrical wiring.

Will 32mm be good?

32 mm is fine.

When I installed the Huntonit ceiling in the kitchen, I used Jetting Screws.

These are distributed by Västsvensk byggskruv ab. The advantage of Jetting Screw is that you don't have to pre-drill, and you avoid cracks in the material.

I used TFX 3.5x30 FZY. I also bought the bits that fit these screws, and it was probably the best "fit" I've experienced between bits and screws.

Drywall screws are superior, preferably the type like Grabber or Biltema with the characteristic "cut the paper" groove.

Chipboard screws also work, but they leave an unpleasant volcano crater facing the wrong way, so to speak, and are easy to screw straight through.
