I will be installing a large heavy bathroom cabinet, 120cm with a double porcelain sink.
The wall is constructed as follows:
Tile-Adhesive-moisture barrier-drywall-wood paneling, in total about 42-43 mm thick.
My first thought was that the wood paneling would be sufficient to hold a substantial wood screw for hanging, but if my children were to accidentally put their weight on the edge of the sink, I suspect it might not be enough. Therefore, I would like to use some type of expansion plug that expands behind the wood paneling. The question is whether there is a plug that can handle walls as thick as mine?
Does anyone know, or have any other tips for me?
