Looking for sawn timber for our fence with dimensions 25x75 mm. Replaced half of it 13 years ago when a truck damaged it, and now the other side is falling apart but it doesn't seem to be easy to find.

Maybe it works with panel board 22x70? I wonder if you can see the difference since it's a gate opening of 3 meters between the fences.

You should be able to find 25x75 (which is traditionally called 1 inch x 3 inches) at a local sawmill/planing mill.

25x75 mm (1x3 inches) is an older standard that has been phased out in favor of a modern standard (to suit sawmills) of 22x70 mm. If you absolutely want 25x75, you need to go to a sawmill or a custom carpentry shop. In some contexts, the difference is significant, in others not. You are the best judge of that.

It is possible to get hold of, but according to Woody, the cost would be quite high. I think I will try with 22x70 and see how it goes.

If you live in Stockholm, it's unfortunately far to a sawmill.

There are several sawmills in the countryside that cut what you want cheaply. Even in the Karlstad area, there is a building supply store that sells the old dimensions. Or if you are close to Norway, check there as they have the old standard over there.
