Going to build a simple deck for the wife and me for once, and I think the construction in the picture works quite well. I have less energy to build these days with somewhat declining health. I'll see if I can get a bit of help from the kid, but he's quite busy. It will be after the winter, but I'm already starting to listen for smart advice now.

Good luck with the build
Looking at the top picture, there should probably be some posts dug in.
It seems to be more than 2 meters deep, so you should have something supporting the framework in the middle.
