Hi, I'm installing some window sills in MDF and am wondering what is best to saw with to avoid splintering if MDF does that.

I have access to a Circular Saw, Jigsaw, Multitool, Handsaw, and backsaw.

It's one of these I want to use. I don't have a plunge saw and don't plan on renting one either.

Best regards,
Per

Circular with a sharp blade, a guide of a board or long pass for straight cuts.
(Saw from the back side to get the least splinter on the fine surface)

Remember to seal the cut surface/edge before painting, e.g., with white glue, otherwise, it absorbs a lot of paint and often becomes patchy.
