Saw ceiling molding, sloped ceiling meets side attic?

Hello.

I have what seems to be a huge problem.
I have my svanhalstaklister and now I need to miter two moldings that meet between a slanted ceiling and the side attic. So, one molding comes down diagonally and meets the other horizontal molding that goes straight across the entire side attic, i.e., where the slanted ceiling ends. How on earth do I saw the two moldings? I've been at it all day without figuring out what to do, help.
