Hi, my parents live in a house with blåbetong and they have sanded the walls, etc. now. It was a few weeks ago, but is it safe to go home with a little girl who is 2 years old now? Is the dust more dangerous than regular concrete dust and how long should you avoid being in the house?

What exactly have they sanded? Blue concrete is rarely (never?) the surface layer, there must have been some plaster on it. Otherwise, as far as I understand, it's not more dangerous than any other dust. Unlike, for example, asbestos, blue concrete is "dangerous" all the time. If it appears dust-free, I wouldn't worry.

Dust from blåbetong is just as dangerous/harmless as the blåbetong that is in the wall.

However, dust is not good to inhale regardless of whether you are 2 or 62 years old. So when sanding, one should wear a respiratory mask. And then dust from blåbetong is just as bad as regular sanding dust from paint being sanded.
