Hello!

We have torn out the floating concrete slab and a raised floor with embedded wooden beams in the concrete. The house is from '75 and is 115m2, the only thing remaining now is the foundation slab, which is uneven and roughly cast.

We are now planning to fix the basement, but there are several options, making it difficult to determine the best approach. The intended floor coverings are as follows:

Tiles in Laundry room, Shower, Sauna. Water heater room painted floor. Storage room painted floor. Room 1 wooden click flooring. Room 2 wooden click flooring. Room 4 rubber industrial mat with black round elevations on it, not exactly sure of their name.

The alternatives are
  1. Frame the entire basement with Nivell, Granab ventilated floor.
  2. Cast the entire basement with eps + floating.
  3. Split solution Cast where there are floor drains: Laundry room, Shower, Sauna, Room with water heater. Frame other rooms with Nivell or Granab.
We also wonder which system is better, Nivell or Granab, if anyone has experience with both.
Is eps better than framing in certain rooms like bathrooms, laundry rooms?

We would greatly appreciate your opinions on what is a difficult choice for us.

Hello again!
I now see that these questions are very similar to the ones I asked in a previous post, which was not the intention; however, it explains how difficult it is to get a proper grip on this. https://www.byggahus.se/forum/threads/eps-nivell-eller-riva-ut-grundplattan.324448/

I would like to clarify that a ventilated floor is what we have in mind for the basement, but there are several to choose from—Nivell, Granab, Subfloor—and I can't find any comparisons between them, so it is difficult to make a choice between these floor systems. Is one of them considered the best or more advantageous to install, or quieter to walk on, etc.?

Then we have considered combining EPS + floating with a ventilated floor with joists. Using EPS + floating in the shower, laundry, sauna where there is tile and floor drains to get a stable hard floor there, then installing a ventilated floor with joists elsewhere. The question is whether it is okay to do this and is recommended, or if there needs to be ventilated floors even in these areas. Hope someone can shed light on these questions even though they are difficult to answer.
