I'm looking for posts/beams for the fence I'm going to build this week. I was planning to use 45x45. Almost everything I find is NTR-AB (not NTR-A) though. I'm planning to set the beam in ground anchors and then mount the ready-made fence sections.

Will NTR-AB work for this or do I need to track down NTR-A? I would gratefully appreciate any link or pointer in the right direction! :)

If the timber is in the air, NTR-AB is suitable, while the other is more for burying or in water.

How long and how high should it be.

If the cost is not too burdensome, I would choose mist 70x70 posts.
45x45 looks like a budget matchstick construction in my opinion.
With 45x45, there's a greater risk of them twisting and bending.

Might as well jump up to 70 x 70, I think. No big deal.

The fence will be around a patio at my townhouse apartment. Approximately 2 x 3 x 8 meters in length. The fence will be about 80 cm high, depending a bit on how low on the post (i.e., the rule) I attach it.

Round then supports everything with each other so then the stakes hold it well.

Do you mean to use a round fence post instead of a square one? :)

No, it was more about what you said regarding how the fence would turn out.

Okay. Didn't quite understand what you meant by "rund" though.
