Rubber strip with Q-/O-profile???

I am looking for a rubber seal for windows and doors. I have been recommended an O- or was it Q-list, by a carpenter, but I can't find it anywhere in stores. Where is it sold?

Is it really rubber you should have? The best sealing strips for windows and doors are usually made of silicone.

Exactly, silicone strips are apparently the best... Check with the glazier. You're sure to get a whole 100-meter roll at a bargain price. That's what I got. They also threw in 2 tubes of silicone for me.

Besides, the glazier didn't like rubber strips with adhesive. "That kind of crap shouldn't be sold! It comes loose and doesn't hold well."
