I have a log cabin and an exterior wall that was previously damaged and had moisture. The wall has been dried and repaired, but there is still a slightly musty smell and traces of rot between the logs can be seen. Is it a cause for concern? It's probably just remnants of old rot. Will the smell go away? To remediate it, does it mean we have to take down all the logs?
