Hi,
Continuing to work on my new sunroom. The posts and beam are now up. I have an idea in my head of how the roof construction should look. I've seen similar solutions online, but I want some feedback. Also, I would appreciate suggestions for lumber dimensions for the roof trusses.
Snow load zone 2.5.
Usually, I draft it on the computer but don't have a printer at home, so there's a hand-drawn sketch below. The red are new, and gray is existing.

A simpler option might be to attach the horizontal rafter lower, and therefore only attach to the existing rafter and not rest on the wall plate. But I don't know if that would be okay?

Forgot to mention that it's supposed to be a metal roof. And insulated inside the roof as well as some kind of ceiling.

According to sizing guides, 120x45 is required but for a 14-degree slope. I wrote 6 degrees on my sketch, but I should probably go up to 10 degrees if I'm going to have a metal roof (like Plannja).
Does 120x45 work then?
Can anyone give me feedback?
