Roof structure Gable roof vs. Gable roof?
Dibs not trying to build it myself!B bopakoster said:Naturum on Sydkoster (Kosterhavet National Park) is a building with a gable roof against a gable roof where the drainage has been solved in an interesting and elegant way. The gables on the long sides are offset so that the roof surfaces form triangles. Pictures can be found here: naturum sydkoster bilder

Forget this solution. Only future problems!P Panelmannen said:Sketching on a new build and I've stuck with a roof variant that's incredibly stylish but maybe not the best construction solution... It's a gable roof against a gable roof and the problem would be solving drainage and the risk of snow pockets. But if you were to attempt this, how would you construct such a roof? I've searched but only found attractive architectural images.

Really neat solution to the problem! But it looks a bit complex, I can imagine it's not cheap to build like that!B bopakoster said:Naturum at Sydkoster (Kosterhavet National Park) is a building with a gabled roof against a gabled roof where the drainage is solved in an interesting and elegant way. @seniorkonsult were you thinking of something specific or is it more a general concern for problems?S seniorkonsult said:
Can be really nice, but as mentioned the technical part is a bit tricky. Unfortunately, no picture of how it looks from above. Clarion Collection Hotel Carlskrona. https://images.app.goo.gl/dzPCSLgHiPLRFUEd9
