Hi, I have put roofing felt on a board on a simple pump house that I have built, but I am having trouble finding a good solution at the edges. Edge flashing? Just fold in and nail? Suggestions?

I made a similar pump house where I just folded the edges and nailed them, and squeezed them with a small wooden strip just under the roof board against the panel.
Right or wrong, I don't know, but it has worked well.
I even used only underlay felt because I had it at home, two layers have held up well.
