Wall construction: 400mm Leca with 70mm EPS on the outside, 3mm thin plaster. Now plan to build a sunroom (extended spring/autumn) against the facade and need to make it airtight. Preferably want to make as few modifications to the facade as possible and avoid thermal bridges. When I talk to the sheet metal company, it seems to require a 30cm height and inside the plaster. Which becomes a major modification! How would you do it? My idea was to cut a thin groove in the EPS where the sheet is inserted and sealed with joint compound. Then of course screwed to a mounting plate or facade.
10-degree roof pitch on the sunroom. Plastic roof.
