I have a question though, what do you do with the radiators, break the circulation, dismantle the radiators and then tear down the board and mount etc. and gypsum or just loosen the wall bracket and carefully fold away ??

Best regards

Anyone have an idea of how it's usually done? I need to replace interior walls made of Masonite board with OSB and gypsum on top, but I'm wondering how to proceed around the radiators. Anyone have a tip?

Is it modern with suspension?

No, there is a cast slab, so there are only 2 pipes side by side that come up and connect via a coupling to the radiator.

Is it thick Masonite board? 12mm type?
Let it stay behind the radiators, unscrew the brackets, put on gypsum, and reattach the brackets.

(let the radiator hang on the pipes in the meantime, but be careful and support properly so the pipes aren't damaged.)

Why should you remove the masonite?

Partly because the masonite does not provide a good base for wallpaper, large movements cause cracks, and above all, I need to clean up previous owners' mistakes by connecting to embedded outlets and then extending via lamp cords to surface-mounted outlets. I plan to install more boxes for embedded outlets and lay new conduits.
