Hello!
Currently, the ceiling panels in the house are made of some "paper material." During my renovation, I filled all the seams, then glued paper strips over all the seams, and then applied a wide layer of putty over the entire ceiling.
One winter later, these seams have cracked significantly. It was a 50/50 chance on my part as to whether it would hold or not. And no, it didn’t work at all.
Now to my question, I plan to tear down the ceiling in the living room and install a new one. The house was built in '91, some type of nail battens above, uncertain about the CC measurement.
I would love tips on the material I should use? MDF? Single plasterboard? Double plasterboard? To avoid cracks since the house is made of wood and moves.
Also, any tips on installation techniques.
Best regards, ByggarMartin
