Hello!

I have a house built around the millennium shift and have a hard time with the design of the fireplace, so I would like to replace it.

The chimney sweep said it's a substantial chimney compared to what is installed nowadays, so it got me thinking if it really should be replaced.

Additionally, the chimney on the roof is a bit more complicated to replace as it is paneled against the outer wall of the roof due to it being a staggered shed roof.

Do you know if it's possible, or does everything need to be replaced? And if it's possible, how do you go about the replacement? I'm keen on changing the floor or sanding the floor while I'm at it.

Best regards, SP
