Replace ceiling, 400x2400 current dimensions
Hello good people. Premiere for me here on the forum so hello!
I have bought a house and we're moving in mid-August.
I would like to replace the ceiling before we move in but have encountered the problem that the current panels have the measurement 400x2400.
My initial plan was to just unscrew the existing ceiling and replace it with a newer type such as Huntonit and use the old battens. But ceiling panels sold today mostly seem to be 300 or 600?
and I now assume that the battens under the existing ceiling are adapted for 400 panels which complicates things for me.
So! How do I proceed, I would preferably like to avoid plastering, filling, sanding, painting.
Is there any clever person who has a good idea?
And does anyone know if 400 panels exist today? And if so, which brand/supplier?

Have no answer regarding 400mm panels.F Femtioelva said:Hello good people. First time for me here on the forum so hello!

However, perhaps the new panels can be mounted the other way, since 2400 is evenly divisible by 400. Maybe a silly idea, but an idea nonetheless.
