Repair vandalized antique outdoor lamp

Our daughter had a Halloween party at home this past weekend where uninvited teenagers showed up and were turned away. The next day we discovered that on their way from here they took the opportunity to vandalize in several places. Most of it we've been able to resolve, but a tough nut to crack is an outdoor lamp/post from presumably the 1950s. It belongs to a very kind elderly man who is a neighbor a bit down the street. He is very fond of this lamp (which was installed by his own father once upon a time) so I really want to try to restore it. See pictures below. It looks like the bent post is made of a thick copper pipe. Overall, much seems to be made of copper. Do you have any tips on how to repair it? Replace pipe: I don't see any screws for disassembly of different parts so I suspect the entire lamp is "one piece" and can't be disassembled easily. Or does anyone know how this could be done? Repair pipe: Possibly one could cut clean a piece of the old pipe and try to join with the base. Maybe insert a smaller pipe as reinforcement inside? Solder?

Thanks, I'm very satisfied myself

Especially the color of the lod goes well with the surrounding metal, apparently the lod is made of a copper/silver mix.
