There are some minor damages in the basement floor and walls, normally most of the house is plastered with lime mortar, but the floor and walls seem to be cast in concrete. The house is from 1909.
Ardex a46 seems highly praised but costs over 400 per bag. Combimix patching mortar seems to have the same areas of application and costs 70 SEK. Is the added value with Ardex worth it?
The basement is not re-drained, but we live on a gravel ridge. Painted with plastic paint that has peeled off in some places. If you scrape off the plastic paint and paint with a more breathable paint, I have used plaster and mortar on a wall where I couldn't remove all the old paint, what fine filler can be used? Unfortunately, it seems to have been filled before, so not filling would create quite a difference in appearance. Otherwise, a plastered surface with that texture and then silicate paint would be preferable, but time and energy do not allow for completely removing all the paint since only small areas have peeled, and it seems to have been painted more than 30 years ago based on the color choice and wear. So I'm not too afraid that everything will come off...
