Hello!
I've encountered issues with cracks on the short sides of the drywall panels in some areas of my relatively new drywall ceiling. I've reinforced the short sides and used paper tape, yet it's still cracked.
I'm now considering applying a layer of renovation drywall with 90-degree overlap, then using panel adhesive and screwing it, so it shouldn't be able to crack, right?
