1200 does not exist.
 
Strange. It is much easier to lift larger boards than to plaster a lot of extra joints.
 
If you install full plasterboard without taping edges, how easy is it to do well? Is it overall less work to tape and spackle considering there will be fewer seams?

I will be putting up gypsum boards on Sunday on the section where the ceiling is missing. So we'll see how it looks then. But it's also the part that's going to be in a closet.

We had similar problems when we took down a wall in a 70s house. White gypsum in one room and those boards in the other. Then we simply put a wider white, smooth trim/molding over the joint, and said that we'll fix it later when we change the entire ceiling. It's been like that for three years now and we haven't been bothered by how it looks even once…
