Rent stamp

Hello,

The entrance to our house is supported by a substantial wooden pillar that has started to decay, and I suspect it is load-bearing. I would need to rent a prop while I replace it.

Where on earth can I rent a prop? I live in Gothenburg.

No wonder I didn't find anything since it turns out it's called stämp and not stämpel

A stamp, for example, you can get on a postage stamp, but I don't understand how that's supposed to help you hold up the roof.
