Time to renovate my bedroom, which during the last renovation in the 50/60s was covered with Tritex panels as extra insulation, I guess, because they're not particularly practical.
I'm seriously considering tearing these out and replacing them with gypsum, but does anyone know how much the insulating effect changes?
Will it become colder in the room with gypsum instead of Tritex?

::) I don't think you'll notice much of a difference. ;)

I would have screwed drywall onto the wood fiber boards. The room would be 2 x 13 mm narrower, but one can probably live with that. No insulation deterioration and less work. Just make sure to have the correct screw length!
