When I checked around with the crowbar at the porch, I was a bit disappointed when it fell through one side :).
The whole side is "röten" as we say in Götlaborg. Close-up of a damaged porch post base, showing extensive wood rot and decay with green paint.

The post still seems to be in good condition, but I don't know what it's standing on.

So where do I start? Support the roof with a prop and tear down the rest, then build new with wood since I can't do plastering.
Or build up with lecablock and find someone who can plaster it the same way.
I'm not a carpenter, but can I do this myself?
I redid the roof last month, so I know it can handle a couple of heavy carpenters after all.

A few more pictures of how it looks: Close-up of a rotten wooden section of a porch railing with peeling green paint, showing decay and weather damage, with a stroller in the background. .
Damaged porch wood with visible rot beside a textured white wall, a door, and two chairs in the background. Repair discussion described in the post.
