Render carrier instead of Wood wool?
I've just received permission to build an extension on the house. I was planning for the construction to take place over the winter and then in the summer, I would render it with lime render to integrate the extension cohesively with the rest of the house.
The big advantage of Träullit is that the boards effectively served as independent facade material and withstood weather until it's time to render.
But now Träullit has been acquired and the wall boards seem to be gone.
Is there an alternative that can be used as render carrier that effectively functions as its own facade material? Apparently, Cembrit can't be used as a render carrier?
Anyone have ideas?

Unfortunately, I don't have a good suggestion, but I think I read in some newspaper that the manufacturing would continue as before. You might be able to call the factory in Ydre: 0381-601 14 and ask where you can buy the records.
Edit: I found this text on Corren.se (local paper)

Don't you think it will soon appear under another name?P pwb said:Just got permission to do an extension of the house. Give them a call and check in. Had contact with them regarding discs of older dimensions and they had no problem talking directly to end customers.
I have mixed feelings about träullit as a plaster carrier, so I ended up going more traditional with wind paper and reed mat. But that is not about new construction, rather repairs of old walls.

Curious about how you did it as we are also doing an extension that we want to plaster with lime mortar.P pwb said:I have just got permission to build an extension to the house. Is there an alternative that can be used as a plaster carrier which effectively functions in the same way as its own facade material? Cembrit apparently cannot be used as a plaster carrier?
Anyone have any ideas?
