regarding drywall and basement walls?

I have read the thread "help with plaster on basement walls" but can't find anything resembling my basement wall. I have a plastered straw mat as insulation on the inside of the wall, can I use 22*95 as nail battens, and a chipboard plaster combination on that?

Would probably use steel studs instead of wood. There are secondary profiles that only build 25 mm.
