We currently have a house that stands on pillars.
In the same house, there is also a boiler room at ground level, about a meter below the floor level of the rest of the house. The floor in the boiler room is a cast slab. Even the lower part of the wall in the boiler room, up to the floor level of the rest of the house, is concrete.
We are considering raising the floor in the boiler room to make it level with the rest of the house.
The area of the boiler room is approx. 5.7 m2

What are your thoughts on how to carry out such a raise?
Do we need to have pillars underneath standing on the old concrete floor?
Is it an idea to cast in the studs in the old cast wall?
Other ideas?

The plan for the new room is a laundry room with a geothermal heat pump.

I read a bit about it and it seems to be a common way to do it.
How does it work practically, you fill with lecakulor (how high per meter?) and then you pour concrete on top?
Then a joist?
 
Have never done it myself, so I can't give any good concrete tips there.

Assuming you've planned for water and sewage?
Will it then become a wet room?
Any joists above the concrete feel unnecessary. It's probably vinyl flooring or moisture barrier and tiles that apply, right?
