Hello!

I'm about to insulate (wood fiber insulation) the walls soon and I'm just planning to put classic windproof paper on the outside. Then battens, paneling, and cover strips.
Since the risk of rain is quite high this time of year, I'm wondering how bad it is if rain gets on the windproof paper with the insulation inside. It might take a while before the paneling goes up.

It's probably not good if rain gets into the insulation......can lead to unpleasant consequences.....
Does the paneling need to be done now before autumn/winter? Wait until spring if you can instead!

Well, spring... It's too long, must continue indoors as soon as the walls are ready. But the question is whether the wind barrier lets in water like regular newspaper or if it repels some of it.

Hmm, it feels like the wind barrier will eventually give way and let water through into the insulation. Hmm, can't you protect the insulation with a tarp?
