I am a new owner of a split-level house built in 1960. A radon measurement was done before the purchase, showing borderline values. What I'm trying to figure out now is where the radon is coming from. There is no soil radon in this area. All non-load-bearing interior walls are made of blå lättbetong. Exterior walls and load-bearing interior walls are likely not made of blå lättbetong. When I've drilled into such walls for mounting/ducting, the concrete has been gray.

According to the technical description, the interior walls are made of 7 cm lättbetong blocks, and exterior walls are made of 12 and 15 cm concrete blocks on the lower level and 20 cm lättbetong blocks on the upper level. Load-bearing walls are made of 15 cm concrete blocks. So, according to the description, there is lättbetong in two dimensions: 7 cm (this I know is blå) and 20 cm which I am not sure if it is blå or not. Now to my question: Does anyone in the forum know which dimensions blå lättbetong has been manufactured in?
