Planning to make a minor extension 2000x4000 with a 20-degree roof pitch. Considering if I can make a recessed joist frame according to the sketch and use pressure-treated 90x90 glulam columns as "stubs" on the footings to reduce the overall height of the foundation. Do you think it will work? Attaching picture
