I have removed a built-in wardrobe that a long shelf was resting on and will replace it with a bracket (either just a bracket on wood, plus a strip/support - sorry, can't get the terms right without seeing the picture).
White shelf with bracket underneath, red arrows pointing to where the shelf attaches to the wall, questioning if adhesive alone can hold it securely.
I had planned to do the same on the opposite side but discovered today that on that short side it's full of electricity so I don't dare to screw there. However, there's no electricity in the wall where the large bracket is attached.

To the question, can I glue the "strip" with something like just Tec7 (red marking) plus attach a similar strip with screws on the rear wall? Will it hold? Or attach wood+bracket (as in the first picture) on the rear wall but in the corner (green marking)?
Shelf corner with red and green lines indicating potential attachment points for support, showing exposed wall structure and ceiling. Broom handle visible at the side.
Do you get it?

Do you understand?
Tec7 is incredibly strong, so there should be no issues. However, I would opt to glue a bracket instead of a strip for the best bearing capacity across the entire shelf, so it doesn't bend in the middle if you understand what I mean.

It's enough to glue, it will stick like a rock.

However, I would have chosen to go up a size or two on your brackets you plan to attach to the wood. You want the bracket to extend as far out on the shelf as possible. If you like, you can also take the opportunity to remove the wood support that is under the shelf. It serves no purpose anyway.
