Quality difference, Norgips and Gyproc plasterboards?
Yes, is there any difference in quality between Norgips and Gyproc plasterboards?
I am mainly thinking about Swedish standard, "normal" size 13x1200x2400 from each manufacturer.
If you look at Gyproc at Beijer, you almost have to pay double the price compared to what Norgips boards cost at Hornbach or Bauhaus.
Does this price difference correspond to the quality of the boards?

No, only Beijer is more expensive than all the others if you don't have a discount.... the same Gyproc board on bygghemma.se (XL-bygg) for 15 SEK less per board...
That said, I can recommend Gyproc's new Ergolite plasterboard, 25% lighter than classic boards... it makes things much easier. But they obviously cost a bit more...

I suspected it. Significant markup.
But what about Norgips? Hornbach and Bauhaus charge around 60:- per board before various discounts are applied.
It's quite a bit cheaper even when compared to Byggahemma's price on Gyproc.
How can there be such a difference if there is no quality difference in the boards?
Could gypsum boards be a product where the saying "you get what you pay for" doesn't really apply?

I have covered an entire basement with Norgips and there was absolutely nothing wrong with those boards. In fact, they were significantly better than the boards I bought at the lumber yard because they were stored indoors (Bauhaus). All boards were straight without any edge damage or similar.
I have just drywalled a garage with Gyproc, no problems, but I got discounts that made it not worth going to Bauhaus.
