Hello
I'm planning to build a room in the cold cellar and use it as a pump room. One wall is an exterior wall, lightweight concrete, uninsulated. I'm thinking of casting a base, then metal studs, 100mm stone wool, and fiber cement boards on both sides.
The ceiling is already insulated.
The question is whether I should have a vapor barrier between the insulation and the fiber cement board?
And if I should frame and insulate directly against the exterior wall of lightweight concrete, or if I need an air gap there, between the concrete and the new wall?
Best regards
Micke
