Hello!
We are at the starting point of planning our house construction. We have finished sketches of how the house should look and will start creating detailed drawings. Now to the crux of the matter - I don't know how to set up house plans, which types of drawings are needed, or what specific symbols are used in house construction. I know drafting techniques and layouts when it comes to machinery, but nothing about house drawings. Does anyone have tips on good books or even their own professional drawings that I could take a look at?

Google "husritningar" and you will get countless results.

Can highly recommend Gösta Hamrin's book on technical drawing for construction!

As mentioned, each municipality has information on which drawings should be included:
Site plan scale 1:400/500
Plans
Facades
Sections
possible detail solution
all at scale 1:100
I turned to a university and sought a student in construction engineering.
I received help immediately = professional drawings.

This is what my garage drawing looks like for the building permit application

Thank you for the quick responses!

The drawings from Gävle provide tips on building permit drawings, then I will swing by the library to check if they have the book by Gösta Hamrin.

Thanks again! :)
