We are planning to refresh the exterior of the house and have come to the conclusion that we like dark gray with wood details. Now to my question - why can't I find anyone who has used impregnated wood (or even untreated) as trim around windows anywhere? Is there something I'm not considering, or is it simply that people think it's ugly? Attached is a picture of how we envision the front - before and after. Thoughts and ideas are more than welcome.
