Hello!

I discovered that the ceiling of the laundry room (which becomes the floor of one of the guesthouse bedrooms) is made of pressure-treated wood. They seem relatively "new" as they are in good condition. I have heard/read that this should not be enclosed behind walls, ceilings, and floors. How important is it to replace them, and is it something that will "definitely" become a problem later on? Is it worth spending the money and time to replace it?

What would you have done?

As long as they are not exposed to moisture, it is probably quite risk-free. Why have impregnated boards been used?
