I have used the TräGuiden's dimensioning tool to calculate ridge beams and rafters for a garage project.
In their example, columns are accounted for, but I wonder when you can skip the columns since there will be walls up to the ridge at the same places where the columns would have been.
Simply put, how much point load can a stud wall cc600 45x145 c24 with OSB on the inside and sheet metal on the outside handle?
