Plumbing/Electrical...which are cheapest
Hello
Can someone answer the following, who are the cheapest when it comes to buying all plumbing and electrical for a stick-built house??? For the plumbing, I'm flipping through Rinkaby's pipe catalog..... I've heard that they have good prices compared to other suppliers?? but when it comes to electrical, I have no idea who are the cheapest. The idea is to purchase everything from the same place, to perhaps get a decent discount.
Can someone help me...... :-/

What a coincidence Sarpat...my sister has just moved into her "Kvadraten" from Eksjöhus ;D
Nah...unfortunately,
I could probably take some pictures both outdoors and indoors, but she lives in Trollhättan so I have 6 miles to travel... but maybe it can be arranged. :-/
Harald Nyborg is a tip for cheap electrical materials. For example, they charged 99:- for a package (100m) of 1.5m2 cable; they also have more in their range that can be competitive even against biltema. Ekohallen is another tip for items like device boxes, which go for 10:90 each. All my electrical materials are purchased at these places + biltema.
When it comes to plumbing, I shop at a small firm located outside Örkelljunga, Enkvists VVS. Their prices are significantly lower than Rinkaby, and they are very well-stocked. However, they do not have an online store, but they recently introduced a card reader, so you don't have to use cash. Comparing these prices to a specialized plumbing store, it's half the price.

Byggmax has been reasonably cheap on VP-rör and boxes around a tenner each for both, and it's the same brand that others charge 50% more for. Otherwise, I don't like to compromise on quality when it comes to electricity. The best is if you know someone with a discount at an electrical wholesaler. Then you don't have to worry about getting bad stuff, and there is much more to choose from compared to what we ordinary people can buy.
