A screw has come loose that holds the heating element in my oven. The screw coming loose seems to be due to the plug it should screw into being missing. Does anyone know what I can use as a plug that should sit in the oven?
Loose screw in an oven holding heating element, missing plug causing instability. Seeking advice on appropriate replacement plug. Larger screw?

No, it is a much larger hole that is not threaded.

There are plugs for sheet metal, but I think it's overkill for this.

A metal rivet nut for sheet metal attachment, cylindrical in shape, suitable for creating threads in thin materials.

Biltema has 6.3x22 screws, it seems there's plenty of room for larger holes in the bracket.

Self-drilling hex head screw, metallic color, suitable for metal applications, mentioned as available at Biltema in 6.3x22 size.

Okay for thin sheet metal, I'll check on that, thanks!
