Hello,
I wonder if all yellow dowels from different stores are of the same type, same dimension, etc.??
How do you drill into a concrete wall when you hit metal inside??
I have a hammer drill but was thinking without it.
Do you use a metal drill or how do you do it??
Grateful for all answers

For plugs, I only use different kinds from Fisher's range or similar manufacturers, they are usually available from proper hardware stores.
My rotary hammer can break through thinner rebar, but when it can't, I have drilled with a metal drill bit when possible or made a larger hole and used a reciprocating saw.

Because, sometimes you only need to drill a single hole, and you happen to hit rebar, you don't feel like bringing out the hammer drill, was wondering if there's another way when using the screwdriver/impact drill.
Ok, so all yellow plugs are not the same, in other words.
