I'm renovating my living room and will be laying Platon on the floor to ventilate the slab as much as possible and protect the floor from moisture. At the same time, I will be adding insulation to the walls from the inside.
Now to my question, is it smart to place the wall's sill (which will be insulated) on the Platon mat instead of, for example, tar paper? This way, I can get air under the floor from the air gap between the outer and inner walls and only need a flare-up with ventilated thresholds against the currently existing inner wall.
I also think that since the air in the room is warmer than in the air gap between the outer and insulation wall, it will benefit natural ventilation?
Am I completely off track?

Controlled/forced ventilation, are you thinking about fans?
What are your thoughts on cold drafts? Cold air is heavier than warm air, which means that the air should go in the other direction, right? That is, heat up the air in the gap instead (albeit very marginally)? (Although I have no clue)
