Plastning - Connection to window

Hello,

I'm working on insulating the exterior walls with plastic. I want to seal tightly against the windows. How do I do that? The trim board only covers a few centimeters of the frame. Should I try to tape the plastic within that centimeter?

Option 1: Age-resistant tape between plastic and frame
Option 2: Backer rod in the gap between the wall and the frame + soft sealant
Option 3: Use plastic-filled backer rod (the innermost strip)
