I'm going to redo the bathroom and relaxation area in the basement. I will lower the ceiling a bit. It seems to be some kind of plaster that's painted with some "plastic paint" so it looks quite sealed... but if I lower the ceiling to install new electricity and lighting, do I need to put plastic upwards then?
